First Russian Bible School organized for a six day period Sis. Anna Macdonald from England and other brethren and sisters who coordinated the Bible School approached us to provide lessons for the children in Russian language. Bro. Dema Krassavin from Siberia kindly translated our 6 daily lessons compiled for the Bible School into Russian, bound into books with craft pages beside each lesson. We sent all of the books, supplies for the week and all materials for the children to complete their craft projects, one being on Elijah and the widow Zarephath in which we needed to send them some “flour” to complete the craft, not realising the severity of sending “white powder” in little zip lock bags if it had been examined by customs in Russia. God provides the way for things to happen where man can prevent. After a 2 day journey by train across the vast cold country of Russia the children enjoyed their lessons, projects, craft days, sports events and even showed up for class ½ hour earlier each morning and at the end of the week, they were given their “kit bag” to take home with joy mixed with tears. Once again, London ecclesia was put to the task of cutting and compiling all of the supplies needed for this Bible school along with warm mitts and candies for the children. Mailed to the Russian Bible School location before the commencement, took great courage, faith and optimism that all would be there in time for the Bible School to commence. Our faith was founded on the premise that God is the provider and we are the instruments.
